Gruhapravesha crackers at the Sivakasi price
A gruhapravesha follows the muhurtha, usually in the early hours. There is a homa, the family steps in together, and milk is boiled over on the new stove as the house's first celebration.

Why crackers belong to Housewarming
It is short and exact. You want a few things at one moment in the morning, not a night of fireworks.
What to buy
A garland at the gate as the family steps in, a few single sounds when the milk boils over, and sparklers for the children. Everything else in the order waits for the next festival.

Not sure how much to buy?
Most families land between ₹5,000 and ₹10,000 at our prices, which at the printed MRP would be several times that. Every ready pack clears the minimum order, so you can start from one and adjust.
Housewarming questions
What do families light at a gruhapravesha?
A garland at the gate on entry, sometimes a few single sounds as the milk boils over, and sparklers for the children to finish.
Will the parcel arrive before the muhurtha?
Yes, if you order a week before. Delivery to Bengaluru takes 2 to 4 days. The 5,000 rupees minimum is more than a housewarming uses, so most families keep the rest for Deepavali.
Can it be delivered on the muhurtha day itself?
We aim for a few days before. Give us the date when you order; transport arrival times are never exact, so earlier is safer.
